• limited transaction information such as the date, time, amount and payment reference when you pay at the range;

• any other information you choose to give us when making an enquiry.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in the website contact form unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

Our legitimate interests include running and improving the range, answering customers, protecting our systems, preventing fraud and understanding the performance of our services. We consider these interests against your rights and reasonable expectations.

4. Payments

Card payments made at the range are handled by our payment-service provider. We do not receive or store your complete card number or security code. The payment provider processes those details under its own privacy and security arrangements. We may receive limited transaction information needed for reconciliation, customer support, fraud prevention and accounting.

5. Who we share information with

Where necessary, we may share limited personal information with:

• website-hosting, email, IT, security and website-support providers;
• payment processors and providers supporting transactions at the range;
• Rookery Park Golf Club or its golf professionals where you ask us to pass on an enquiry about lessons or related services;
• professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, lawyers or auditors; and
• courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where required by law.

We require service providers acting for us to use personal information only for the agreed service and to protect it appropriately. We do not sell or rent your personal information to other organisations.

6. Maps, social media and external websites

Our website includes an embedded Google Map and links to services including Facebook, eBay and Rookery Park Golf Club. Google may receive technical information, such as your IP address and device information, when map content loads. If you follow an external link or interact with another platform, that organisation will process information under its own privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.

7. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies needed for security, functionality and remembering your cookie choices. Optional analytics or advertising technologies will not intentionally be used without the consent required by law.

• Competition entries: normally up to six months after the competition closes. Winner and prize records may be kept longer where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes.
• Transaction and accounting records: normally six years, where required for accounting, tax or legal purposes.
• Website and security logs: for the period reasonably required to maintain security, diagnose faults and investigate misuse, taking account of the retention settings used by our service providers.
• Consent records: for as long as the relevant consent is relied upon and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can demonstrate your choice.

We may retain information for longer if a dispute, complaint, legal claim or regulatory requirement makes this necessary. When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it.

• ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
